How can I view detailed image information?

Click on the image thumbnail to view price information, other photos from the same shoot, similars, a comp image and model release information.

How do I access the advanced search options?

Click on "More Options" to the right of the search bar to access advanced search options.

What are the functions of the image detail icons?

Each image displayed in the search results has icons below it. Clicking each icon performs one of these functions:

Check Box: Allows you to apply a specific function to multiple images at once.
Add to Lightbox: Allows you to add this image to your lightbox.
Add to Cart: Allows you to add this image to your cart.
View Larger: Allows you to see a larger preview of the image. You may view multiple previews at the same time and move them around your screen by clicking and dragging on them. You may also cycle through the various previews with the left and right arrow keys. Pressing the Enter (or Return) key toggles background dimming on and off. Pressing the Escape key closes all previews.
Trash Can Image = Trash Can: Allows you to remove an image from your selection.

How do I download a watermarked image?

MediaMagnet watermarked comp images are approximately 500k, perfect for spec work or for-placement-only uses. Comps of all images are free and can be downloaded by visiting the image detail page. To download a comp, just click the "Download Comp Image" link found below the image.

What are your Comping License Terms?

By downloading comp images, you are accepting our comping license terms. To download comp images, you must have a MediaMagnet membership and be signed in.

What are your image prices, sizes and resolution?

MediaMagnet offers it's images in various sizes ranging from $39 for a web-use image up to $149 for the X-Large size. You may download and use this image as many times as you need to, without any restrictions. Specific sizes and resolutions for each image is specified on the image details page.

What type of images are offered on MediaMagnet?

MediaMagnet sells contemporary, royalty-free images that are ready for all marketing, editorial, and design project applications. Image relevancy and quality are of utmost importance. Our image collection spans the most popular content categories, such as business, lifestyle, couples, and many more. All images must pass exacting creative and technical standards before you will see them on MediaMagnet.com.

What is a royalty-free image?

All of MediaMagnet's images are royalty-free. You pay a single licensing fee (your initial purchase), which gives you the freedom* to use the images in multiple projects as often and as long as you wish.

Usage of royalty-free images* from MediaMagnet may be applied to:

What is Sensitive Subject Use?

You agree not to use any image in a defamatory manner or context, either by changing it or by any accompanying text. Advance written permission is required for use of images that depict any illegal goods or activities, or any sensitive subjects, including but not limited to contraception, matters of a sexual nature, substances abuse, domestic violence, alcohol, tobacco, AIDS, cancer, acts of violence and other serious physical or mental ailments.

Model and Property Releases

MediaMagnet provides model and property releases for all images when a release is applicable to the photo's subject matter.

What is a Model Release?

A model release is a release signed by the model(s) shown in an image. In the release the model(s) give consent for the image to be used for commercial purposes including advertising, publishing and promotion.

What is a Property Release?

A property release is a release signed by the owner(s) of the property shown in an image. In the release, the owner gives consent for the image depicting his or her property to be used for commercial purposes including advertising, publishing and promotion.

Purchase Information

Do I have to be a member to make a purchase?

You don't have to be a member in order to purchase an image, but membership allows you to save your purchase history and download the image any time you log in. Membership also allows you to easily edit your search preferences and access all of the MediaMagnet features and, best of all, it's free.

How do I make a purchase?

  1. Search and add images to your cart.
  2. Sign in or start your free MediaMagnet membership.
  3. Make your purchase with Visa, MasterCard or American Express or apply the purchase to your MediaMagnet credit account (must complete a credit application and receive approval). How do I check out?

  1. If you want to purchase the entire contents of your lightbox, select the lightbox, or add images to your cart.
  2. Click the cart button in your lightbox or at the top of the page.
  3. Review cart contents and edit if needed.
  4. Continue with the checkout process to pay.
  5. A receipt page will appear that allows you to download your purchased image or images.

How can I purchase using a purchase order?

We'll need your completed credit application. Please call 1-800-917-8737 (US only) or 1-904-680-2901, or e-mail sales@mediamagnet.com for more details on using purchase orders and completing a credit application.

Will I receive a receipt for my purchases?

A confirmation receipt will be sent to the e-mail account we have on record for you. You may also review the information in your account profile, which includes your purchase history from the MediaMagnet web site and distribution information.

How do I download purchased images?

To download images, you must first complete the checkout and purchasing process. Images are downloaded from the receipt page, which is the last page presented once you've checked out. Once payment has been made, you may download your image immediately.

To access previous purchases, just login and click the "My Account" tab. Click "Order History" and select the applicable order to download a previous purchase.

How may I view my purchase history?

You must have a free MediaMagnet membership in order to review purchase history, which you can access by signing in and viewing "Purchase History" in your account section. You'll then be able to view individual photo thumbnails and image information.
